Los Premios Oscar revelaron este martes su lista completa de nominaciones para la edición 94 de los galardones cinematográficos más prestigiados de la historia, donde el director mexicano, Guillermo del Toro, competirá en cuatro categorías con su cinta “Nightmare Alley”.
La nueva apuesta de Del Toro fue nominada a mejor película, cinematografía, diseño de vestuario y diseño de producción.

Junto a la película que cuenta con un reparto de lujo encabezado por Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett y Willem Dafoe, también fueron nominadas cintas como “Belfast”, “Don’t Look Up”, “King Richard“, “Dune” “The Power of the Dog” y “House of Gucci“.

Con una larga lista de cineastas consolidados, se espera una edición reñida para la celebración 94 de los premios de la Academia, en cuanto a la nueva película de Guillermo del Toro, la crítica ha visto con buenos ojos al filme de suspenso y crimen ambientado en la década de 1940 que trata sobre un estafador que se une a un vidente para intentar atracar a un misterioso millonario.
Los Oscar 2022 se celebrarán el próximo 27 de marzo desde el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles. Luego de que la pasada edición se viera alterada por la pandemia de la Covid-19 se espera que este año la ceremonia se pueda llevar a cabo con normalidad y cumplir con las expectativas de su lista de nominados.
